Black realities: Exploring Blackness with innovative storytelling
My talk is about exploring Blackness through innovative storytelling and emerging technology. Unity is an international company and has about 60% of the augmented reality and game development market across the globe so this is a great platform to share what I do! I think it is pretty surreal that December 11, 2019 I opened Unity for the first time, and October 22, 2020 I was speaking at their Summit about the work I do with their tools.

Black creators are using immersive technology to tell their stories and inspire radical change. It is critical that artists who have historically been excluded from the narrative are empowered to harness immersive technology for storytelling and shaping the future.
